food inc. paragraph

Should people be able to see what is in their food? Yes I believe that everybody should be able to see what's in their food. If big corporations take away our right to see what's in what we eat then they could feed us cheap man made things that may not even be meat/ vegetables. We could have no way of knowing if what we are eating is healthy or even food. The big corps could take thousands of people out of jobs and lower the standard of health and obesity in the us.

Food Inc. Essay

Madex Kim Period #1 Should Access To Healthy Food Be A Right For Everyone?   The idea of eating healthy is advertised throughout the media. If you don’t eat healthy your labeled as fat or having a body to shame. However we are overlooking an essential part and that is the cost. Healthy food is expensive whether it’s fresh vegetables, organic fruits, whole grain loafs, or lean meats. Although many of us can easily purchase these food items there are others who can’t. These people are the poor, the immigrants, or labor workers. They’re people who are in situations we may not understand. Some wake up and work all day just to receive little pay. Which is why such people go down the path of eating unhealthy. Why pay for just a head of broccoli when you can pay for a Double Quarter Pounder with fries and a soda at the same price.  Healthy foods need to be a right for all to receive because it’s in fact beneficial to all!   Providing healthy foods to all is in fact helpful to the

Madex Kim Period #1 9/5/19                                        SBPA #1 My Experience With Plants     My name is Madex Kim and I have lived in San Jose, California for all my life. Our old houses had large gardens which could be used to grow many plants. I used to help my grandma whom I'll get into later. My experience with growing plants were mostly in my childhood. I grew a sunflower that I got the seeds from my elementary school. Also I learned from somewhere that tree branches can be grown even if broken off. So I did with my sister, but when we were moving out of the house we pulled the branch out. We believed that the branch was dead, but over a few months it actually grew roots. Currently I'm growing succulents because they're easy to grow.    My grandma has been growing plants for a long time. From vegetables to trees. She really use to enjoy planting and gardening and she gives me tips always even when she can't herself now.

She has had a personal garden and also a garden at a school, her relation to me is that she is my mother. My person experience with gardening has been limited to looking at my moms garden and occasionally helping out.  Another experience I’ve had with gardening is trying to grow small plants in my room however this usually doesn’t work out because I forget to water them. That is someone that I know that has had experience gardening and my personal experience gardening.

My name is William Butzow. I live in San Jose California. My experience with growing plants is very little. My mom grows a small herb garden and cooks with them from time to time. Our herb garden consists of mint, basil, oregano and parsley. No one I know in my family or even extended family has much experience with gardening. Even though I have family in Montana they did not farm. I help my mom cook sometimes but that doesn't require much insight to plants or farming. I am excited to learn about kale and see it grow.
